» EcoTourism IN LEBANON
It is true that Lebanon area does not exceed 10452 square Km but each Km gives new delightful experiences. For about 33 dollars, the adventurer can experience a unique adventure in Aakar arid lands of 400000 square meters in the North, 180 Km from Beirut and 1865m under sea level. The adventure starts in a clayey house with stoned walls. You have three daily meals to assess the quality of the Lebanese traditional cuisine and enjoy the Kichk, beans with olive oil, Mjadara among other things.

The adventurer shall not miss the exploration trip of Lizab. He needs only sports clothes, a water flask, a hat and sunglasses. The expedition may take more than 8 hours in order to travel the length and breadth of the region. You would see the tree that grows only on rocks at a height of 2000m at least and lives even more than a cedar tree. The Lizab come into being by a complex and strange process: the Kihkan bird swallow the seed of this tree and excrete it, so that the soil transforms it into an excellent tree.
